Honda city 2012

This is a 2012 Honda City. Honda’s middle-down sedan production will perform more daring. 2012 Honda City with a more dynamic body design on the front looks more sharp. The new front looks like the grille with chrome accent touches such as the Honda Accord. The new design also appeared on the front bumper a sporty character. In the interior 2012 Honda City offers excellent comfort with features and more space. Altitude set the driver’s seat, power windows, MP3 player, AM / FM Radio, engine immobilizer, child safety locks on doors, seating capacity for five passengers, anti-theft alarm. For the kitchen runway Honda City 2012 is still quite economical. 5-speed manual transmission, FWD driveline, Engine1.5L i-VTEC engine produces 116 hp power. For the legs use size15 inches wheel coil spring suspension and stabilizer at front and rear to support the driving comfort.

The safety is one of the key concerns on the manufacturer. The 2012 Honda City is equipped with SRS Airbags, 3-point ELR front seatbelts with load limiting pretensioner, ABS + brake assist, Honda’s unique G-Force Control Technology and an advanced security system that effectively prohibits theft without the key specific to the vehicle.

The new Honda City is just a part of a continuous process of redesigning and improving which covers many of the Honda models, such as Honda Accord, Honda CR-V, Honda Civic. Honda Civic is one of the main brands and it has been given special attention this time also, the model Honda Civic 2012 being fully redesigned.
When the all-new Civic arrives this spring, it will continue to be a standout in the compact segment, with all the value, reliability, sporty performance and efficiency you’ve come to expect from this iconic vehicle. The 2012 Civic will offer an unparalleled level of variety, with standard coupe and sedan models, two sporty Si versions, one hybrid, one natural-gas alternative-fuel variant and an all-new model—the Civic HF. In the tradition of the Civic CRX HF of years past, the new Civic HF has a similar goal of high efficiency with gasoline-only power, delivering a targeted EPA-estimated fuel-economy rating of 41 mpg on the highway[1]. Also delivering on the efficiency front is the all-new Civic Hybrid. With its all-new lithium-ion battery, the Civic Hybrid boosts its mpg numbers significantly with a targeted EPA-estimated city/highway combined fuel-economy rating of 45 mpg[1]. The sleek new Si performs an engineering paradox by enhancing efficiency and performance simultaneously with its torquey new 2.4-liter i-VTEC® engine. The next-generation Civic brings enhanced styling, performance and efficiency across the model range.
2012 Honda Fit Sport comes with style strengths exterior and interior with added new features. It has large interior and cargo volume of a relatively larger vehicle. Honda Fit Sport’s interior receive newly designed console-mounted center beverage holders along with console ambient lighting, which provide easier access and greater stability. All models also receive added sound insulation measures in the floor, front fenders and A-pillars, plus thicker front corner-window glass, to help create a quieter, more-refined cabin environment.
2012 Honda Civic is designed to even better meet the diverse needs of the compact-vehicle buyer when it launches in the spring of 2011. The entire redesigned ninth-generation Civic lineup will become more fuel efficient with two models – the all-new Honda Civic HF and the Civic Hybrid – each delivering fuel economy estimates of more than 40 mpg on the highway.
The City 2012 will have a facelift to its design but this time the facelift wont be outrageous but it would give a sportier look to the car than the current model. The trademark of the Honda City that is the honeycomb-mesh grille with the single chrome slat would be there with some modifications which would make this car look more stylish and stunning. The headlights are wider than before with beautiful jewel like small lights on top. The taillights would get an LED treatment.
The interior would get minor tweaks too. It would have new upholstery options and redesigned console with automatic opening and clossing with just a touch. The dashboard and the dashboard elements are very executive. The cabin is quiet spacious. It is so beautifully designed and the finishing is very outclass that you just dont want to spoil it by putting any oily material on it. The steering wheel is covered with leather and the handbrake is also very stylishly designed. You can keep your body posture very relaxed while sitting on the seats. They are highly comfortable with enough space. The rear seats are equally comfortable and the cargo area can put in a lot of luggage inside.
You’re looking at the production ninth-generation Civic, unveiled ahead of its official launch this spring in the US. Think you’ve seen it before? At the 2011 Detroit show last month, Honda rolled out the Honda Civic Concept in both coupe and sedan form – the production cars are largely identical to those show cars.

In the US, the 2012 Civic lineup includes a sedan and a coupe with standard petrol models, a new “HF” high fuel economy version, the “Si” performance version, one hybrid and a natural gas alternative-fuel variant.
The Civic Hybrid will have a larger 110 hp 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine coupled with lithium-ion batteries, an upgrade from the old 1,339 cc engine and Ni-MH batteries. The CVT is carried forward. The Hybrid will feature ECO Assist technology and specific aerodynamic components. Honda expects it to achieve an EPA-estimated city/highway combined fuel economy of 45 mpg (15.9 km/l), an improvement of 4 mpg (1.4 km/l) over the old car.

While tagged as a fuel economy version, the HF is powered solely by a petrol engine – it’s not a hybrid. It does however get the ECO Assist system (standard across the Civic range, except Si) and the Hybrid’s aero bits. Combined with the standard 140 hp 1.8 litre i-VTEC engine/5-speed auto combo, Honda expects the HF to achieve up to 14.5 km/l on the highway, better than the non-HF’s 13.8 km/l highway figure.
The sporty Si is available as sedan or coupe, and is powered by a 200 hp/230 Nm 2.4 litre i-VTEC engine. This high revving unit is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. Despite the larger engine (used to be a 2.0) and a 22% increase in torque, the Civic Si is expected to get a better economy figure from the EPA.

As you can see, the new Civic retains the familiar silhouette, but the area below the C-pillar seems to be more sculpted. And while the front design doesn’t depart much from the current car, the rear is all new, and more sporty looking in my opinion.
The cabin, seen for the first time here, follows the same two-tier with blue lighting sci-fi theme, but the centre console is now angled towards the driver. The top tier also includes a supplementary screen, perhaps to show ECO Assist or stereo functions. There’s also a new look steering wheel. To its left is the green ECON button, essentially a “power save mode” that the Insight Hybrid also has.

That’s all the info released for now, gallery is after the jump.

The new Honda City 2012 is a different of the models of Honda that was reformulated in its design. The 2012 model won finest headlights, front grille with a new sports coneito. Equipped with 1.5l i-VTEC engine that delivers 115 hp Flex when fueled with gasoline and 116 hp with alcohol.
Within the City 2012 has extra space, objects and areas for port and multi-functional spaces, air ondicionado and comfort.

comes the Brazilian utilities at a suggested retail price of R $ 56,210 for the LX model, the EX model with manual transmission: U.S. $ 61,650 with automatic transmission and real: U.S. $ 65,450 dollars. And the EXL model with manual transmission: U.S. $ 65,375 with automatic transmission and real: U.S. $ 71,095 dollars.
As we mentioned earlier, the new City will feature new headlamps, LED tail lamps, designed bumpers and Grille and revamped interiors. We can also expect the new City to don some new colours in addition to the earlier colours. Part of the new Interiors will be a new CD player, new console and interior trim.

Although the City is back to be the leading petrol sedan, with the new entrants like Verna and Fiesta, the City is long due an evolution to keep up with the newer sedans and to make up for the lack of the diesel variant. Also just like the Jazz, the new City may as well get cheaper owing  to localisation. Keep checking this space as we will keep you updated on the 2012 Honda City.
2012 Honda City facelift has slid in Bangkok, on this day, Thursday (22 / 9), at the Hotel Intercontinental. In Thailand this model is issued in three variants with a price tag of 559-704 thousand Baht or Rp 171-214 million.

Refresher prominently on the front fascia with a new twist on the grille and bumper. At the stern of the bumper and the lights get ‘pinch’ new.
Overall new look Honda City is claimed to Thailand more sporty and impressive premium.

Interior does not change. Similarly to continue to rely on a mechanical heart i-VTEC engine-powered 1.5 liter 120 hp with manual and automatic transmissions.
With the launch of 2012 Toyota Fortuner, 2012 Toyota Hilux, 2011 Hyundai Accent, and 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Honda Motors will also launch their latest model; the 2012 Honda City that will fuel the excitement of honda fans and enthusiast.

The 2012 Honda City will be a facelift version of a 2011 honda city which is available on the market; meaning minor upgrade on the aesthetics, and front design, still the same engine used on the 2011 Honda City. Some upgrades on the 2012 Honda City which are recognizable: headlights design pattern and the use of led as he standard compared to 2011 Honda City's convetional headlight bulbs; streamline design and led on the hazardlights; streamline design and led on its tailight; sleek design for the sidemirrors; and new design on the rims which very similar to other cars offered in the market. Minor upgrade will be also on the interior.

The City facelift will instead have subtle tweaks to its design to make it look sportier than the current model. We expect the trademark new honeycomb-mesh grille with the single chrome slat to make it as standard fitment on the new 2012 Honda City. Expect the headlights to get minor design tweaks while the taillights could get an LED treatment.  The interiors should get minor tweaks too, with new upholstery options, redesigned console or dashboard elements, added features etc.
the Japanese carmaker will still go ahead give the City its mid-life makeover to tackle the new competitors. The City’s design is already in line with Honda’s current design language – so much that the upcoming Civic actually looks like a bloated Civic. So don’t expect any outrageous changes.
